Last week, we shared the laws God handed down for us to be one with Him and our fellow brothers and sisters. But there were other Laws God handed down before Adam and Eve were even in the picture.
These laws governed how the physical realm would operate. Laws like the Law of Gravity and the 3 laws of thermodynamics.
In our civil society we have laws to keep people safe and laws to insure fair treatment of individuals. The speed limit laws are just one example. This keeps us safe and chaos at bay.
Scientists have observed these natural phenomena's for the past thousands of years and many have their names attached to these laws; Einstein, Newton and Farraday to name a few.
The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second and Pi is 3.14159265359.... Have you ever asked why they are this way. Why not 195,000 miles per hour or 100,000 miles per hour?? Would there be a difference if the speed of light was slower? The Golden Ratio is 1.618 and it can be found in almost every area of nature.
Scientists have been very good at observing these laws and determining how they work in the physical world yet none of them have ever offered up a reason why they are this particular measurement or ratio.
A review of the scriptures can help us in this area.
In Job 28
To establish a weight for the wind, And apportion the waters by measure.
When He made a law for the rain, And a path for the thunderbolt,
Read the entire chapter of Job 38 and understand how the physical world was created and Who did it?
The next time an atheist of scientist disputes the existence of God, ask the questions of where the Golden Ratio, Pi and the speed of light came from and who determined them? Bask in their silence or response of "I don't know" and understand that you do. Are we smarter than these supposed intelligent scientists?
Back in Job 28
27 Then He saw wisdom and declared it; He prepared it, indeed, He searched it out. 28 And to man He said, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.’ ”
Don't Boast about your wisdom but keep asking questions and understand that the truth shall make you free!
