Stolen Identity
Every year 16.7 million people are victims of identity fraud according to the site identityforce.com. This is an increase of 1 million over the previous year. I am here to report that the real number is closer to 7 Billion!
Our identity plays a large role in how we see ourselves and how we project onto others. It is the very essence of who we are. It is most often tied to who we associate ourselves with. Our family or choice of career, social groups or political organizations will often times be the biggest influencer's of our identity and our sense of self worth.
Unfortunately, there has been a thief running loose on this planet whose very mission is to steal your true identity and deprive you of the real value you possess on this particular plane of existence. A value so great that the Creator Himself entered this realm to redeem us from this very thief.
In the words of Zacharias in the first chapter of the book of of Luke-
“Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people"
This thief wants to rob us of who we really are. He knows we are sons and daughters of the Living God and that our destiny is to be forever with Him in paradise. But he deceives many to believe we are nothing more than evolved apes who once were just goo in a lake. He wants us to believe we are really just biological organisms that are here to infect the precious environment of Earth. We have become associated with this thief and our identities have been hacked by the supreme hacker of mankind's minds. It all started in a garden near the Euphrates river where our first mother was told we could be gods.
Our identities have been under attack for almost 6,000 years. We have become slaves to this thief and his promise of wealth without effort or me first, all others second. We have given up our true identities and nature for one that does not really provide any true happiness or joy.
Jesus sacrificed Himself for everyone born up to the time of His death and everyone born after so that we could be freed from this slavery. That includes you and me. But we must be first born again to be redeemed from this crime of identity theft.
Understand who you really are. Take back your identity from this thief and invite the Holy Spirit into your life to set you on a new path. One that will lead to an association with the One who created you for a purpose and a life of abundance. We are all God's children and beneficiaries of the inheritance first revealed to Adam so many years ago.
And that is the Whole Truth!
Have a wonderful rest of the week and may God bless you in your ongoing walk with Him.
And remember,
God always answers His kneemail.
