Good Morning!
Today is the first day of your life. Yesterday is history and tomorrow is no guarantee. Today is all we have. The page before us in the diary of today is blank and waiting for our words and reflections. In order to be successful, it helps immensely to start the day with God.
The Psalmist says in Psalm 96:2
Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.
Every day.
No one knows what the day will bring but if we start it off with God, we are assured He will walk with us because He cares for us. Today could be a challenging day or a triumphant day. I pray that whichever one it is for you, it will make you better, more compassionate and closer in your walk with Him.
The morning is a good time to reflect and plan for the day. It is also a good time to build your relationship with the Savior of mankind. Five or ten minutes in the Bible or meditating on His sacrifices for your well being will go along way in keeping you safe and at more peace throughout the day. We all need more peace. Especially in these times.
God has promised that a relationship with Him will yield abundance in a way you can never imagine. I know I have experienced this in my own walk and recommend it highly to everyone who will listen.
Have a great day and know the Lord your God watches over you and will be with you throughout the day. Cast all your worry on Him and know He cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
