God's Workmanship

God created us out of Love. He created us to be perfect. We were created in His image for Heaven's sake! He loves us and He cares for us.

Paul tells us this in the Book of Ephesians and instructs us in our destiny.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

We are the embodiment of the heavenly realm. God created us to do good works for we are His ambassadors. What an unbelievable commission we have been blessed with. God loves us and even knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows the number of hairs on our head! Luke 12

Do you know how many hairs on your head? Unless you are bald, I would wager none of us know that.

In the greatest commandment in Matthew 22, Jesus tells us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Therefore before loving our neighbor, we must love ourselves. If we understand who we really are and our destiny to fulfill, then this task should not be that hard. We are all special creations of the Lord Himself and every time we look in the mirror, we should see His resemblance in us.

I love myself because Jesus loves me. He lifts me up before all creation and He Himself created me to fulfill His purpose. This is a huge responsibility that few understand.

Love yourself, understand who created you and do the good works God has set out for you to for His purpose and not your own. This is our commission. Do it well good servant because man cannot imagine what God has prepared for those who love Him. 1 Corinthians.

And that is the Whole Truth!
