I wanted to share something with you that only the Angels know. When God created the universe, earth and mankind, He did so out of love and joy. God took His skills and power and showed all of creation His ability to create life. He took nothing and created not only something but something beautiful and magnificent. It is clear God puts in 110% into everything He does.
When artists create paintings, sculptures or movies, we do not praise the creation but the creator. The statue of David and the Sistine Chapel are great works of art but we do not honor those but give kudos to Michelangelo who created them.
So why do we continue to marvel at ourselves and our surroundings and chalk it up to Mother nature and evolution? Silly really that something so magnificent as the Earth and the Human body just magically came into existence without a designer or creator. There are too many systems and dependencies in place for these things to function the way they do.
Our sole purpose here on planet Earth is to glorify the One who made this all possible. The Bible is pretty clear about this in the Book of Psalms:
Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! Psalm 150
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
Psalm 100
Praise Him who made all things for His pleasure. We are one with Him who made us to be in communion with Him at all times. We are His masterpiece and are on display for all to behold and be amazed. Never let any thoughts of worthlessness enter into your mind knowing your true origin and destination. You are a magnificent piece of artwork created by the Master Craftsman to be placed on a pedestal to Glorify Him.
We are His Mona Lisa and the universe is His Sistine Chapel. We are to reflect His Light and be seen by all of creation for the wonderful production we were always meant to be. God has made us to be so much more than we are. His plan for us is so much bigger than we can ever conceptualize. We must glorify Him for all that is and is to come.
The apostle Peter understood this and tried to evangelize it to the first century Christians in the book of Romans.
that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15
Glorify God for your life and eventual ETERNAL life to always be in His presence. To be the amazing creation you are and to reflect His light onto others so they may understand and reflect it as well. Praise be to God and His Son!
And that is the Whole Truth!
