i.t. is Finished

God created the English language. It is interesting all of the various ways you can use letters to communicate. For instance, OK, Hi and Q&A communicate to the reader the current state of a person, saying hello and the acronym for Questions and Answers. We understand what these letters mean and they have become more common and popular in our use of texting to others. ex . LOL

The world of typography is using letters to depict more than just the word. It is used in graphic design and used to carry information. The letters stop men to stop what you are doing but STOP in bold is someone yelling stop. It communicates emotion.

This exercise lends itself to Orthographic Systems and skilled word recognition. All orthographies, whether alphabetic, syllabic, or logographic, were invented a few thousand years ago with the sole purpose of communicating spoken language in graphic form.

While Jesus hung on the cross, He spoke a few phrases. One of those phrases was "it is finished" stating the work of salvation was complete and He started the process of handing Himself over to God. .

When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

John 19:30

In the phrase "it is finished" man through the cross is rejoined with the Father. Jesus sacrifice was our only way back to rectifying the sin of Adam and Eve. Their disobedience ushered in our current state of disassociation with the Father and the proliferation of the enemy who has done his best to try and destroy us. The letters i and t can be used to depict man and the cross when you use the right font.

It is interesting how Jesus chose this phrase and how our English language evolved to communicate this depiction of our salvation in just two letters.

My organization itEL group incorporates this in its name. i is man, t is the cross and EL is God. The t is what joins man back to God.

You may never look at the word "it" in the same way ever again, and that could be a good thing!

From the beginning this was the plan all along. The lamb of God coming to be a sacrifice for the atonement (at one ment) with God once more just as we were in the Garden. Just like the blood of the lamb that was smeared on the doorposts in Egypt, Jesus blood was protection for us from the Spirit of death. Can I get an Amen?

Amen, come Lord Jesus and save us from this body of sin..

And that is the Whole Truth!

May God truly bless you in your walk with Him.

And remember, God always answers His kneemail.
